Our app's display of other boats relies on a large network of shore-based AIS receiving stations which collect and share ship data with us. We have good coverage globally, but there are always areas where there are no receiving stations and we are unable to display up-to-date data on ships. We understand this is frustrating, especially if you can see the ships yourself.
